About Us

Cornwall Build delivers well-managed residential building projects across the region, working with homeowners and property owners on renovations, extensions, new builds and garden rooms.

We bring experienced trades together under a single, organised build team, with clear responsibility for planning, coordination and delivery. This reduces gaps between trades, improves sequencing, and creates a more straightforward experience for clients.

Our focus is on preparation, communication, and managing the details that allow complex projects to progress smoothly.

Our story

Cornwall Build was formed through the merger of two established local construction businesses, combining complementary skills and experience into one team.

By bringing this experience together, we’re able to offer a more coordinated approach to building projects — from early discussions and planning through to construction and completion — while maintaining the hands-on involvement of a local company.

The business continues to develop with the future in mind, strengthening systems and standards to support more complex work while remaining firmly rooted in Cornwall.

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Local. Reliable. Built with Pride.

JORDAN HUBBARD

Jordan’s career in construction began at 14, labouring and plastering for his father whilst studying A‑levels in maths, physics, chemistry, and geography. Although academically strong, he was drawn to hands‑on craftsmanship, which led him to train as a carpenter. After four years of study through to Level 3, he launched his career as a self‑employed carpenter, subcontracting on high‑end coastal properties across St Agnes, Feock, and surrounding areas.

Working on these projects sparked a deep appreciation for precision workmanship, thoughtful detailing, and the wider discipline of project management. This passion drove him to establish Precision Projects, where he delivered bespoke extensions, large‑scale new builds, and complex renovations while growing both his team and technical capability.

After three successful years running a high‑end carpentry and construction business, he partnered with Luke Allatt of Hex Carpentry.  Their complementary skill sets and shared standards of excellence created a natural synergy, forming the foundation of Cornwall Build Ltd—a company built on craftsmanship, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional homes.

LUKE ALLATT

Luke is a dedicated construction professional who began his career at 17 as an apprentice carpenter. Those early years in the trade built the foundations of his work today—attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a commitment to delivering work that stands the test of time.

In 2022, Luke established Hex Carpentry, focusing on quality carpentry and tailored building solutions. As the business grew, so did the scale of the projects, naturally progressing into high end new builds, renovations, and extensions across the South West.

In March 2025, he joined forces with Precision Projects, combining their experience, standards, and shared values.

Together, they formed Cornwall Build Ltd, uniting two businesses that have always upheld the same dedication to quality, precision, and exceptional customer service.

Today, Cornwall Build Ltd continues to deliver premium construction services, driven by the same passion, skill, and integrity that shaped Luke’s journey from apprentice to company director.

Can I live in my house during a renovation?

Sometimes — but it depends on what's being done and how realistic you are about what it involves. For small, contained projects it's perfectly manageable. For major structural work it can be genuinely exhausting, and in some cases moving out actually saves time and...
